Preparing, once again, for the trek to #JawnCon .

Added a couple of extra bits to my #JawnCon talk repo; pulled some firewall rules and build time from the Red Star OS RPMs: https://github.com/LambdaCalculus37/JawnCon-RedStarOS

Was inspired by all the new HAMs from #jawncon this year so I finally pulled all my HF gear out and got it set back up. Set up a very temporary antenna and my 20 watts couldn't compete with whatever contest was going on earlier.

Going to try and get a more permanent antenna set up this week and dedicate some time for getting on the air more regularly. #hamradio

@hackaday just published an article about @jawncon and how its second year was a truly kick-ass event! :hackers_town:

I'm definitely returning next year! And hopefully we can have more hackers.town and Corteximplant.com repping too!

Big shoutout to my choom @jadedtwin for making these stickers for me for #JawnCon! I managed to keep one for me but all the rest are gone! 😂

Another awesome #jawncon in the books. Excited to take second place in the CTF, met some cool people, gave some ham radios to new tech license holders, so much more. Can't wait for next year.

Went to #JawnCon today and spontaneously decided to join the #HAMradio class an hour late. Not only did I pass, but a wonderful fellow con-goer gave me a free radio for passing!

I can’t do much with it until I get my call sign, but just holding it makes me feel very official :)
