Mid afternoon coffee and snack Japanese style, from the #HungryNinja, a local Japanese/Korean shop. They've got lots of good snacks there and staples of Japanese cuisine.

The Boss coffees are a huge drinks brand, and a bit funny because it always seems to be that they may have stolen a drawing of Ernest Hemingway for their branding.

Two canned coffees and two snacks. The snacks are a banana filled cake disk, and a pancake-and-red-bean item called a dorayaki.

Also near us now is the Korean "OK Mart" shop known for its little fried chicken outlet in the back.

Across the street is the "Hungry Ninja" shop which specializes in Japanese snack food.

They have the crazy selection of #KitKat flavours you can only get in Japan. Also a huge selection of curry roux, ramen, and the freezers have more brands of natto than I've seen anywhere outside of Japan.

Looking pretty great.

A freezer is full of natto fermented soybean packages, and there are many available.

1. I got to spend time with my feline friend, Penny. My friend asked me to take care of her for a few days. Penny used to live on the mean streets of Brooklyn before my friend gave her a home. I call Penny “The Punk” because of her street days.

2. My friend, who used to live in Japan, left me a gift of Hi Tempura (tempura seaweed snack) and a cute kitty keychain for taking care of Penny.
