Clearly, I can only watch one Ann Rice show at a time. I'm trying to find my place in show, now that I have finished Murdaugh: Murder in the Family (fat Rutger Hauer was great, still don't know if he did it) and wondering why it doesn't look familiar. I was watching Mayfair Witches, not Interview with the Vampire.

One of the important reasons I loved Interview with the Vampire was how well the core Black cast were lit. Look how lovely Claudia looks here. She's always lit well, but is an example where she's supposed to be in the shadows of a hallway with a window. She absolutely glows.

I just finished all of the Interview with the Vampire TV series (season 1 and season 2).

It was really good.

I have really complicated feelings, but it matches the definition of art, for sure. It made me feel things.

I recommend it. 7.5-8/10. There's definitely very bad episodes, but there's also quite good episodes. I'll do a full review of the final 7 episodes I haven't reviewed later, but wow. That was so much.

Excited for Season 3 next year!
