Dunno if this will help anyone, but, random tech tip: if you're using a VPN and a fork of Firefox browser, and your DNS leak test looks like a rusty sieve, check your browser's privacy settings to make sure DNS over HTTPS isn't turned on. I'm no expert in this, but i'm preeeeetty sure that when you're using a VPN, you don't want the internet to see any IP addresses but the one you specifically told it to. What happens when that setting IS enabled is that your browser sends a bunch of other random DNS requests and they all show up on the check's list. For some reason, in MY browser, this is enabled by default. Anyway, I turned it off and passed the leak test with flying colors. Hope this helps someone. (it says it will turn itself off when a VPN is enabled. It lies).

If I've got something horribly wrong, here, or done something extremely stupid without realizing, PLEASE correct me in the replies so this post doesn't mislead anyone who reads it (and so i can fix my fuckup).

The type of network you use changes how platforms respond to you.

On a random public Wi‑Fi, your traffic might look noisy or inconsistent. On a clean, stable home‑style IP in a specific city or state, the same activity can seem normal and trustworthy. That difference shapes everything from sign‑in challenges to rate limits.

Tuesday vibe: check *where* you appear online, not just *what* you do.

In a twist that will surprise exactly no one 🙄, the internet is not a privacy utopia. Kevin Boone has bravely uncovered that — wait for it — browsers can track you! 🎉 Because clearly, no one knew the internet was watching you like a hawk 🦅, and your coronary artery secrets are safe... except they aren't.

The Difference Between The Dark Web and The Deep Web

TheCorgi – Shutterstock Drugs, death, and depravity probably come to mind whenever you hear about the dark web. Or, is it the deep web? Is it both? You might find yourself conflating the two terms, with the assumption that both the dark web and the deep web are the same place for illegal and generally shady activities. But while the dark web is a part of the deep web, the deep web isn’t really the dark web………Continue reading…. By: Jake […]

Updated windows partition to 11.

Connected it to rhe internet for the first time in more than a year.

Now it can remain disconnected from internet basically forever.

For perfection now i just need to find an easy way to run windows stuff (davinci and magix) in debian (no, the linux version of davinci doesnt work for me). And a new email provider, but i am on it already.

Arizona enforces strict age verification for adult content; VPN use can bypass checks

Gov always acts like it’s for safety but really just hoards our data. VPNs r the only shield left. Laws like this push ppl to shady corners anyway, libs don’t get that, typical.

Guys. 😄 After I tried switching from Brave/Firefox browsers to Chrome (Google's browser), Google (Safe Browsing) labeled my sites as unsafe with a big red page. 😄 They said that to remove the warning, I need to add their TXT records to the DNS records of my domain names I rent, such as `kalvin.my` and `lamin.my`. 😄 The purpose of this is to verify my domain ownership. 😄☀️ I think I will do this only if I find that the domain name reflects or has the same vibe as myself.
