With soaring #DDR #memory, #SSD and #HardDrive prices, it looks like a 4TB #HD is the only thing around that's still reasonably close to the stable price of a year ago. Smaller or larger sizes are still at the gouge levels we've seen this past month.

The only caveat seems to be the delivery time. Their estimated schedule is about 2 weeks for the single drive I just ordered, for $89 USD.

If you need something now and can make do with a 4TB (or 2, or a few), now might be a good time to look.

Damn, the brand new drive started clicking too, so the root issue didn't come from the actual drive (doesn't mean the initially replaced drive isn't fried)

Tried changing the sata port, then the sata cable, and still clicking, so I am now leaning towards the molex to sata cable... I knew that jank would eventually catch up, but didn't expect it NOW
