Western wasteful practices where only the best crops cut the mark and everything else is left to rot in the fields is unacceptable.

I have already written about launching a new line of produce: the second grade / Grade2 / #SubstandardProduce. I see a huge potential market for it, especially for organic.

Another important topic is #FarmFoodWaste. Allowing and facilitating the sale of #Grade2Produce either in separate shops or in normal grocery stores should also be a government supported and promoted initiative. It will help both the poor and the environmentally conscious. Placing these vendors in neighbourhoods with struggling communities and in farmers markets would be a quick win.
