Reason #453 why I love my spouse:

We have a root cellar in our basement with an air duct to bring in cold air from outside.

When we built our house addition, the duct outlet ended up shielded under the porch & didn't bring in enough cold air.

Today he installed a duct fan & together we figured out how to connect it to an ISY outlet, link it to Google home, & create automation to run the fan for 15 minutes at a time at set times during the day.
