Our very first game release as a studio back in 2013 was Ossuary. It's a conversation-based exploration of a weird, dark Discordian-inspired underworld. The denizens are all lying to themselves, and you change the world with the Seven Deadly Sins in your inventory.

Halp, I've fallen back into #NoMansSky. 🤣☠️ I hadn't played in a couple years, but despite some long-standing annoyances (freighter refineries *still* empty on exit or warp?! and I *still* can't sell from storage containers when my freighter is in the system?!), goddamn that game is still fun and lovely.
I didn't dive into the fishing expedition, although news of that update is what brought me back. (I don't feel inspired to fish in NMS and underwater stuff in that game scares the fuck out of me.) My big freighter base is a work in progress, and I've just gotten an organic ship and my first organic frigate. Other than that, I'm clearing out quests.
And it's such a great game for playing alongside catching up on media. #Dimension20's "Never Stop Blowing Up" is a perfect fit: not too complex, but funny as hell.
Have I also been figuring out where I want #FutureProofGames to live in a post-#cohost world? Ehhh, only sorta. It's still weird to me to think of a studio having a mastodon presence outside of Gregory and me as individuals. Does that mean I've been on mastodon too long? It'd be very convenient to have a centralized presence tho...
It feels like we haven't done a Future Proof Plays stream in a long-ass time, but we're back! Gregory is live playing John William Evelyn's "The Collage Atlas" over on Twitch, a game with art that seems to be entirely pen and ink. I'm a sucker for that aesthetic. I still think about The Mind's Eclipse regularly, and I played it years ago. Anyway, come hang out with us!
