Looks like the #forgejo docker container for 14 does not work exactly as the container for 13 does. The new container timed out when I tried to run it.

It also looks like I didn't configure it properly because I configured it using the wrong file (which I deleted).

Well... oops.

Also that's definitely a sign I need to git-version my configuration.

I just banned ~30,200 bot-scan IPs with a Forgejo honeypot. More are still coming in.

Do you have any good everyday Forgejo fail2ban filters that you can recommend?

I've started doing open source work again. Mainly focussed on ham radio stuff. Also I'm not publishing the source on GitHub but my own self-hosted Forgejo which feels good. I'm happy if people get in touch but also I'm trying to keep a healthy relationship if my open source work.

@forgejo We are using Gitea 1.25.4 and have thus missed the migration path to #forgejo. Is there any way to migrate the data nonetheless? I'm afraid the longer we wait the more difficult it will become, but we cannot afford to loose the existing data.
