"Therapeutic potential of #MSC-derived #ExtracellularVesicles from menstrual blood. In sum, primed MSCs under pro-inflammatory and hypoxic conditions affect the cargo proteome of the released EVs, giving rise to different therapeutic potentials, and thus warrants experimental exploration with the aim of generating better-defined MSC-derived bioproducts. We are pleased that we were able to make our contribution to this."

A schematic outlining the EV-mediated crosstalk between GBM cells and astrocytes. GBM cells bearing the p53R273H mutation secrete PODXL-containing EVs into their extracellular environment. Astrocytes respond to EVs by increasing HA deposition. Increased HA content in the ECM promotes GBM cell migration and infiltration into distant brain tissues.
