I feel like I may have already posted this one way back in the day for another theme, but that was surely on Snowdin so doesn't count (RIP)
Anyway, my favourite end credits theme is still the Lifeforce cover of VNV Nation's "Further", from the indie classic Iji.
Iji opens with all life on earth being abruptly annihilated, bar a few survivors. It has no happy endings, just less terrible ones. There's a victory, but at what cost? This end theme is the perfect closing accompaniment with which to reflect on the rest of the game.

Also, should I ever die, I intend for this song to be played at my funeral, so it's literally *my* end credits song.

No one can stop me! Second #VGMWednesday for #EndCredits is "Your Voice" from Xenoblade Chronicles X. A conflicted and slightly tormented song, as befits the game, and also an absolute banger, same.

My pick is "Nameless Song" from the first Dark Souls. There were a lot of ways that FromSoftware could have capped "the hardest game ever" but choosing to do so with a calm, somber piece gave me pause for reflection as the credits rolled.
