Now that the Stop Killing Games initiative and petition have passed 1 million signatures in the EU, I thought it could be interesting to think about what the resulting directive might be like. The write up is based on my experiences with the European Accessibility Act, which is an EU directive.

I mostly focus on the concerns and possible exceptions the directive might have that are of interest to game developers.

Tonight the EU-trilogue on gig work continues. The #Uber lobbymachine had a fierce and expensive campaign that could have paid #drivers and #riders a decent wage for years. A group of brave #riders hopped on their bikes and rode from #Paris to #Brussels this week to lobby for a decent workers status.
