What tips do people have for improving my skills particularly in development.

Last year I graduated university with my Computer Science degree, but it feels like I have too much knowledge spread too thinly (This has always been an issue for me).

I would love to get more into mobile app development, but trying to come up with ideas for apps to build is really hard! It feels like most projects I try an build either fizzle out or end up just reusing the same basic skills without developing my knowledge
