So, I opened #DataGrip and got just a blank screen, try to exit it and I get a blank "confirmation" box and manage to randomly click close so it closes, but open again and the same, tried #WebStorm and the same thing there, but IntelliJ works, but then I quit intellij and start datagrip and then datagrip works ok, but now I start IntelliJ and #intellij is just blank. So I am apparely only allowed to have one #jetbrains product up at at time?

I absolutely love Jetbrains IDEs - when they work - but it is getting progressively more annoying when they don't. I mean, they manage the most amazing stuff, but to switch from laptop display to monitor without crashing, this is apparently not doable.

There are SO many bug reports around these, they are fixed in "this and that version" but nah I run the latest version and still it is a nightmare.

I have enough issues trying to get the software I write to work, I don't wanna spend time bughunting for Jetbrains.

What's the best plugin to view and query databases in #nvim #neovim? Something like #datagrip from #jetbrains but for the console.

TIL, that you can group #SQL statements together in #JetBrains #DataGrip with BEGIN and END, and immediately execute them with Ctrl-Enter. I had this "problem" for so many years, and finally today I was so annoyed by having to select the statements "by hand", that I finally searched for another solution. Not really a surprise: it's there ... What took me so long?

I may have some projects coming up using DB2. While looking into #IntelliJ from #jetbrains for some #java projects, I came across #DataGrip. I see it has the ability to connect to DB2... Is anyone aware of issues, concerns, gotchas, etc., if the DB2 database is running on AIX?

I've been living in the Microsoft development world for many years now and I haven't touched Java or DB2 in a very, very long time...
