Today I've spent a little bit of time to hack together a DMR repeater map, based on RadioID's data. You can compute a route and see the DMR repeaters along the way, filterable by 2m/70cm band and connected Network (BrandMeister, DMR+, TGIF etc.). Feel free to check it out: https://dmrmap.kida.io

А меня потянуло куда то не туда. Или наоборот туда.
С полгода назад зашёл в мештастик, собрал сразу 1.5вт adventurer, поигрался, все понял, продал.
Сейчас остался только heltec v3 с коллинеаркой на балконе, который работает лучше чем адвенчурер но с ретевис- антенной.
Имхо мештастик мне не нужен и бесполезен.
Но дальше интересней. Чел позвал в dmr связь. Купил сначало baofeng 1802, потом tyt390 потом tyt9600.
И вот эта штука мне понравилась.

I've just released v1.0.0 of #BrandManager which is a #Brandmeister Management App.
Currently it's sole purpose is to view and link or unlink Talkgroups to your Hotspots.
As of now I've only uploaded an #Android #APK Release, I'm planning to publish it in the App- and Play Store as well but as this is taking a significant amount of time (Screenshots, Copy, extra Legal Work, etc.) I don't know when I'll have time for this.

With some delay due to unforeseen issues, finally release 0.2 of the #DMR tier III #trunking controller GUI is available now.

The main feature this release adds is partial support for the Homebrew DMR Trunking Protocol, which is currently implemented only by the Brandmeister network.

Vor gut 2 Jahren habe ich mir das kleine RT73 von Retevis gekauft. Es war mein erstes DMR-Funkgeraet.
Aus heutiger Sicht ist es nicht für DMR-Neulinge zu empfehlen, obwohl die Verarbeitung gut ist. Die Software dagegen ist mangelhaft.

@dl2jml In Albuquerque, I tested the DMR repeater on Brandmeister, and it didn't work very well. I would cut in and out. I tested another non-Brandmeister DMR repeater, and it worked great. I think my issue is repeater-related. I am still looking at the DMR hotspot. #DMR #Brandmeister
I'm thinking about getting a DMR hotspot since DMR repeaters are finicky. I travel in an RV and would use campground WiFi and my phone hotspot to connect to DMR hotspot. I would not be able to connect to WiFi router, and I currently cannot build one. I used an Anytone 168UV. Do you have any recommendations on DMR hotspot? #DMR

It took me months, but I *finally* have DMR working, complete with my own hotspot even.
There's one thing I haven't been able to sort out. I've got a Radtel RT-4D that I'm programming with their CPS.
I have a few zones (Nebraska, Colorado, USA EmComm, "DMR" (everything else), Analog, and NCF).
No matter what I do, if a transmission comes through on any talkgroup my Brandmeister setup is configured for, it starts playing. It doesn't matter what channel or zone I have selected. I've got Dual Display set to Single, Dual Standby to Off, Standby Area to B (with range B set to 146.52 analog). I set my zone and get to my "NE Primary" channel (TG 3131), but I still get audio for North America (TG 93).
I can't imagine that all of DMR is set up to have everything try to play, so I figure it's gotta be something on my handset, my Pi-Star, or my Brandmeister config. I'm leaning toward the handset, but I'm not finding anything that changes it.
Anyone out there run into this and know what setting I need to tweak?
