#CraftCMS v5.9 is a big deal. The promise of 'Entrification' was made 3 years ago and as an early adopter of "everything is an entry" it's been a bit of a frustrating ride at times. But with custom index pages (and previously a proper tag/folksonomy management UI) it feels like they're finally there.

I can now go back to worrying about if I should use Matrix or CKEditor fields for longform content. Cheers!

Several years back, after building a lot of #CraftCMS sites from scratch, I created a starter project that has saved me a good chunk of time on each new build since.

New video goes over that starter—folder structure, essential plugins, reusable Twig components, and my base "content builder" Matrix field. Might give you some ideas for your own workflow. 🤷‍♀️

I've been working on a client's site redesign/rebuild on WordPress since early December, which has been... fine. I've recently gotten back into a client's Craft site, working on improving its structure and authoring experience (AX). It's been... nice. I can't stress enough how much better Craft is with regard to its user (& author) experience and especially the user interface.
