Guy types in Rats, a 3-D maze “game” from 1983. Interestingly, he said it was originally made for a #PET 4000 series, which is kind of hard to believe as the graphics were only character-based, I thought.

This is the cover of the oldest issue of Compute! magazine that I remember owning.

What I appreciated most about this magazine was that it covered the different systems of the era, enough for me to appreciate the other systems too. Unlike the magazines that specialized in one system, the diversity in scope gave me a wider perspective of what the early home computers were capable of, as well as showcase strengths of each platform.

La revista Compute! tiene sus orígenes en la PET Gazette de 1978, que cubría ese modelo y programas para este. En su apogeo, había ediciones para cada modelo de los ordenadores Commodore.
En 1979 que inicio como Compute! publicaba programas para ordenadores que tuvieran el CPU MOS 6502.
Se dejo de producir algunos meses de 1990. El número final fue de septiembre de 1994
