Families can embrace the spirit of the season early with free Santa photos and winter magic at Bass Pro Shops Santa’s Wonderland, happening all day at multiple locations. Meanwhile, breakfast lovers can start their morning with a Free Original Grand Slam Breakfast at Denny’s for rewards members — a perfect treat before heading out to explore local arts, markets, and community happenings.

Holiday shoppers and art lovers will enjoy Visions of Sugarplums, a long-running Triangle favorite celebrating its 51st Annual Holiday Art & Gift Show at Quail Hollow Swim Club from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. For a quieter, nature-focused experience, Sculpture in the Garden continues at the North Carolina Botanical Garden in Chapel Hill with a suggested donation of just $5. Artists and creatives can find inspiration during the Plein Air Drawing and Painting Session at Historic Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., where the fall scenery makes for a stunning outdoor studio.
