Q at #CivicTechTO: How reduce political support for automobility when majority owns cars?

* cars are really expensive, $9-13k annually in Canada
* people can want to not own cars, but don’t have alternatives
* need to invest in both alternatives for intra city, but also *inter* city travel. Dramatic decline in intercity bus service in Canada recently.
