@johbeil Womöglich ging ja auch aus dem/der alten Zonophone dann eben "Regal Zonophone". Ist nur so eine Idee. Ich mein, nehmen wir mal alles von Electrola bis EMI, die #Polydor in all ihren Varianten und Firmenkonstruktionen, Brunswick, London und wie sie nicht alle heissen bzw. hiessen. #Philips mit seinem OhGottOhGott-Label #Fontana fiele mir da auch noch ein.

Oder Sam Phillip's #SunRecords der weitere Labels wie #PhillipsInternational (nicht zu verwechseln mit "unserer" Philips) oder auch #CharlyRecords gründete und betrieb.

Wobei Charly wiederum, bis heute noch, meine ich, viele der damals unveröffentlich gebliebenen Sun-Aufnahmen raushaut. So z.B. Jerry Lee Lewis "Friday Night" und andere Schätze aus den 1950ern. Kurze, knackige Tracks mit grade mal 1:50 bis zwei Minuten Spielzeit pro Titel. Herrlich.🤩🤩
