I did manage to break away for a moment to get the #BoardingAction #Dungeon project started.

Unfortunately, I didn't have enough single-wall corrugated #cardboard to make the second layer. I'll have to scrounge around and make this the beginning of a thread to continue later.

Sorry for hyperfixating on #cardboard #papercraft #terrain so much lately.

But, as I look at the #TombWorld terrain, and subsequently the #BoardingActions terrain, I can't help but think, "With a simple aethetic swap, this could be a fantasy dungeon."

So, I am 'this close' 🤏 to building a cardboard/papercraft (cardboardcraft?) Boarding Actions board that I can swap out for different things like a fantasy dungeon, scifi streets, or necromunda board.

I received my electric assist ebike and noticed all the packaging was cardboard and cardboard separators with cotton strings holding things together. No plastic coated cardboard or plastic anything in the packaging.

This will make recycling much easier. Recyclers will even pay for cardboard and lease for free the cardboard compactors if you have a lot of it. All that natural cellulose is efficiently reused, unlike plastics. I've maintained plastic manufacturing plants for 15 years and now avoid any plastic (it is very rarely recycled due to severe technical reasons.)

This should last me for the rest of my life as it is very repairable and modifiable. If parts are not available twenty years from now, I can rebuild the motor, drive, etc., as I have experience doing that.
