I have been having great fun taking #Japanese hiragana and making a #cursive #alphabet #conscript with it! It is very loopy and fun to write. I included characters for some common words (the, and, and so on) and also some letter abbreviations, etc. It gives me a writing outlet at work without roman letters jumping into people's eyeballs. I was using #Tendrilis, and I still love it, but I wanted a cursive option. I've already written pages and pages and am very pleased with my new alphabet toy.

I have a number of improvements in mind for this script, and I guess I'll now have to rename it to something else; but I don't promise anything, dunno if I'll be in the mood for it.

I just played #Conscript for the first time and it is great!
It's a #horror game set during WWI. You play as a French soldier fighting his way through the trenches during the Battle of Verdun, looking for your brother, who's gone missing. No zombies, no monsters -- the only enemies I've run into so far are German soldiers who are just as desperate to survive as you are.
The gameplay is a love letter to Resident Evil, including saving by writing in journals, limited inventory space + item boxes, and even an RE4-merchant-style soldier who will trade cigarettes for ammo and supplies -- but tonally it's deadly serious and captures the dread of trench warfare perfectly. Excited to play more tomorrow, after I sleep 💤
