Just wanted to share the status of something i am currently working on.
My own CAD.
I am programming it in Python.

Since i handle CAD software at work, i know what to add and keep in mind. Refraction and scale.

I started that because i wanted to have a CAD programm at home, but since they are really overpriced, i started my own.
with plugin support for the future, so others could add their own stuff

Another fencing project that I have been scheming about is "strip caddy" -- a set of nesting bins that will attach magnetically to some specific blade guards designed to act as the legs. I did SOME of the easy part and still need to work out so much more, plus the whole design for the braces, which as you can see is going to be essential.

I am super pleased with how this came out. I printed it with Creality Silk PLA with usual print settings and all top surfaces ironed.

I can NEVER remember if I have taken my daily vitamins/prescription so I have created this step tracker so I can just put the bottle on the date I am taking my vitamins. I am going to paint the name of each day in the 7 slots.

There are two epee fencers in this house and we have had two competition experiences with bad body cords. Unfortunately stupid testers are upwards of 100 or more dollars and I find that fucking crazy, so I am making my own.

9v battery or 12v auto-switching with some simple blue LEDs to indicate a complete circuit. Easy-peasy and half the price with top of the line switches, plugs, and LEDs.

Working on the internal structure to make sure the LEDs are appropriately diffused and the seam doesn't look too dark compared to the other vertexes.

We're working on our origami over the snowstorm and we needed some trays to hold the square paper. I made these quick little nesting trays in a dozen minutes in CAD and maybe an hour and a half printing.

I am making some center pieces for a homie's wedding. Working out how I want to assemble the LEDs on the inside so it's both bright and uniformly lit.

Working on an under-sink organizer for the bathroom to hold the cleaning gear I need for my retainers. I wanted to minimize the amount of PLA, so the top piece is being made out of wood so I can route out a channel and embed some neodymium magnets and then seal it in epoxy.

I grabbed a K2 SE pre-order for a screaming deal with the enclosure kit and for the price this is an insane deal! [$~320USD] It is already cranking out clips and organizers.
