After crossbrowsertesting phasing over to bitbar, I've tried and evaluated browserstack, lambdatest and a few other similar tools. I did end up with a runner up Sauce labs, primarily due to better(for me) pricemodel. #browsertesting #codeception #laravel #symfony

Browser testing, cont'd: Gotta say, this Vivaldi thingy is making a good first impression - looks nice, useful features, good customization & privacy options, and, not least, blazingly fast even with many tabs open (which I would expect, tab-browsing-centered as it is).

It should be noted that most tests so far have seen performance drop off markedly over just a few weeks, but so far, a contender.

It was surprisingly difficult to get react-select working with #Playwright. It's components are built from non-trivial elements and interactions, and make #browsertesting difficult. Trying to test "in anger" makes me discover all the quirks. Well only a day wasted.

As a long time #WebDriver user, I was surprised how quickly I got #Playwright running. And it feels fast! Nice to do again some #browsertesting to make sure my #webapp keeps working while I refactoring.
