Jazz in the Garden at the Museum of Modern Art is a Teddy Charles jazz album recorded live at the Museum of Modern Art in August 1960 and released in February 1961. Music from Jazz In The Garden At The Museum Of Modern Art was later reissued under the title "Sounds of the Inner City.
In an AllMusic review of Sounds of the Inner City (a reissue of Jazz in the Garden at the Museum of Modern Art), Al Campbell stated "This is a noteworthy reissue considering that there are so few instances of Little's lyrical trumpet style and Ervin's passionate tenor recorded together." - Wikipedia

Here and There is a jazz album by multi-instrumentalist Eric Dolphy. It was originally released in 1966 on the Prestige label as PRLP 7382. It contains tracks recorded on three separate dates, in different locations...
In a review for AllMusic, Scott Yanow wrote: "Although it is easy to think of this set on a whole as containing 'leftovers,' Dolphy's strong playing on alto, flute and bass clarinet makes the music of strong interest to his fans." - Wikipedia

We Insist! (subtitled Max Roach's Freedom Now Suite) is a jazz album released through Candid Records in December 1960. It contains a suite that composer and drummer Max Roach and lyricist Oscar Brown had begun to develop in 1959 with a view to its performance in 1963 on the centennial of the Emancipation Proclamation. The cover references the sit-in movement of the Civil Rights Movement. The Penguin Guide to Jazz awarded the album one of its rare crown accolades, in addition to featuring it as part of its Core Collection. - Wikipedia

Booker Little 4 & Max Roach
1958 album, and the debut of Little as leader, when he was quite young. Not that he got old, as he died at 24 of kidney failure.
This starts out with Miles Davis' "Milestones”, done a bit less adventurously by Little…and I'd probably suggest that his runs on a lot of this (enjoyable) LP are, perhaps, a tad undeveloped.
Joined by Art Davis (bass), Max Roach (drums), George Coleman (tenor sax), Tommy Flanagan (piano).

Originally released in 1962.
This Prestige Jazz Masterpiece Japanese reissue series is a great alternative to the unaffordable New Jazz originals.
