If you've not watched the three series of Blue Lights then you have missed a treat... and now Jonathan Freedland argues its also a really good route to a better understanding how the shadow of the Troubles (so-called) still looms over Northern Ireland.

So if you want to watch some great TV, then you know what to do.

We've just been binge watching the third series of Blue Lights.... (having recently re-watched series 1 & 2 in preparation)....

You may have seen some reviews suggesting it was off the boil... well, that's really very much not the case.

But the really key thing is the second three episodes (4-6) are directed by erstwhile actress Angela Griffen & she has done a brilliant job; its the arrival of a major directorial talent.

Watch the series & you will not be disappointed!
