Made a birdbox! Out of scrapped planks that used to be a boardwalk over a peat bog at a field site, and old Festival adverts, serving both as a hinge and waterproofing for the roof

This was an optional evening of woodwork, tomorrow we fit a 3D printed enclosure inside the roof with temperature/motion sensors, an ESP32 board with LoRa, and ponder how else we might be more connected to any birds that choose to make a life inside the box
