I'll just start by saying that I really enjoyed Alien Romulus. After the atrocity that was Disney's How to train your alien (Alien Earth) I have been in need of a good Alien fix. Alien Romulus was actually pretty good.
The little winks to previous films and the usage of some classic lines were to its slight detriment, I thought.
But all in all a good one.

Wasn't the *one* thing which made the #Alien "franchise" interesting that every movie was very different, both stylistically and plot-wise, from the previous ones? #AlienRomulus is the polar opposite.
