🎧 Kid Tricky — Super 8 Avenue (2013)

Moody trip hop with cinematic textures, cold synth layers and deep basslines. Super 8 Avenue captures the feeling of a late-night city seen through vintage film grain — immersive and introspective.

Vergesst sinnloses Gefrickel ohne Seele.

🎧 Substanz-T — Beyond E (2007)
A subtle and immersive blend of ambient soundscapes, downtempo rhythms, and abstract trip-hop moods.
Minimal, cinematic, and deeply introspective — electronic music that unfolds slowly and rewards close listening.

I just listened to The American Bison 4, an album by WOE.BEGONE, available now on bandcamp (woebegonepod.bandcamp.com/albu) and on major streaming services *soon.*

It's safe to say this whole album is amazing. I've been looping the first three albums over the past month while work/sleep/studying (deep cut but iykyk) and I feel like I can reach for every single parallel.

Compared to the other 3, I feel like this one has more tracks that are partially ambient and then partially vocalized, something I feel wasn't really on the first 3 and a feature I really like.

My favourite track after my first listen is probably 20,000 Would Be No Exaggerated Number, the first on the album. These albums have always had amazing starting tracks, in my opinion.

Honorable mention to Things I Hid In Athan's House, a song which I'm sure will confuse anyone not up to date on WOE.BEGONE or embedded in the fandom. But an amazing track nonetheless.

I've been a fan of WOE.BEGONE for a long time. If you don't already know it, you should absolutely check it out. But honestly despite being glad I got into W.BG because of the show itself, I think I could say I'm equally glad that it got me the knowledge of these four albums.

I would recommend listening to each in order. If you're looking for more ambient tracks, they're here. If you're looking for slightly more active tracks, they're there. Dylan (the creator) really shows his range throughout the four.

The album cover for The American Bison 4: A vertical aspect ratio picture of a pink bison stuffed animal laying sideways on what I assume is a couch covered by a blanket. To make the image square, a pink border is applied to the sides, and the album title "the american bison 4" is sideways against the edge of the image.

🔥 Rock Roulette – Episode 177 🔥

We wrap up Side Two of Idlewild South 🎸
The wheel landed on The Allman Brothers Band, and this episode takes us deep into the blues-soaked grooves, extended jams, and soulful moments that close out this Southern rock classic.

Does the second side cement Idlewild South as a cornerstone of the Allman legacy? 🌙
Drop the needle and find out.

Been spinning The Clearing from Wolf Alice a lot since it landed last summer. They’ve shed some skin here—less wall-of-guitars, more space for Ellie’s voice and those wistful, resilient lyrics to breathe. It’s confident without being cocky, intimate without losing edge. My full review is up now, straight from one music lover to another: sonicpulsereviews.com/post/the
