@jmtd Feels like I'm stalking you with all these replies but you've been posting interesting stuff ;-) I'm definitely keen to see the reproducible containers stuff. At #Adoptium we've got the builds reproducible but have not yet attempted to do so with the container images.
Also intrigued as to whether it's even possible with the dockerhub "official" images which they build from dockerfiles that are supplied to them.
Sadly, I'm not going to be there in person this year.
The Adoptium community is planning to end #EclipseTemurin support for Solaris/x64 and Solaris/SPARC and Windows 32-bit builds (JDK 8, 11, and 17) in 2026.
This change allows us to focus resources on the most widely used, actively maintained platforms, ensuring Temurin remains secure, reliable, and high-quality.

OK, so for some real weird wingwongbooboo with some deep seated #Windows11 issues I'm *sometimes* able to install stuff from Windows Store / Update, and *sometimes not*, and looks like the official #Minecraft launcher belongs in the latter category.
Looks like I'll finally have to get MultiMC, then! (which I will get once I get #Java #Adoptium updated)
