A man in spacesuit with bubble helm throws up his arms as he’s swarmed by blue lights. The fuzzy dots of light leave a trail back to the horizon, obscuring some of the star field. In front of man, face down in the regolith lies the remains of another astronaut whose helm is cracked. All that remains of his head are the bones of his skull.

Lit by a campfire, a human with short blonde beard performs on a lute-like instrument for a group of aliens with big glassy eyes and long ears. They look like a cross between hairless rabbits and sphinx cats. Many hold primitive weapons and their expressions range from attentive to confused, but the mood seems social as they gather around the fire. The night sky is filled with a galactic spiral.

Facing the audience directly, a massive green dragon lays atop a hoard of glittering gold with forelimbs crossed and chin resting over them. A skeletal figure in black hooded robe stands on a smaller mound of treasure before the great dragon holding up a vial of blood. A trickle of red dribbles from the dragon’s mouth. The pattern of smaller scales on its long snout is echoed in larger hexagons atop the cone of its head. Eyes curve in yellow slits under spiked brows. Antennae like projections sweep off the top and side of its head. Above, wings unfold nearly touching the cave top, which glistens in dotted mineral patterns of red, yellow, and green.
