I invested just four hours, and now you can completely change the colors of the Personal theme. Four readymade styles are included: Dark, Black & White, Purple, Contrast Split, plus the standard layout. Typemill is sooo easy to code 🙂

@fasnix@iceshrimp.de ok, kein Problem, dann würde ich die Punkte in mein Kanboard übernehmen. Ein Migration von GitHub weg ist für mich gerade nicht leistbar.

Danke vielmals für die Empfehlung!! EPUB und PDF kann man tatsächlich auch in der kostenfreien Version erstellen, dann allerdings nur browserseitig mit Paged.js (integriert). Kostenpflichtig ist nur die serverseitige Generierung mit WeasyPrint, da ich dafür einen zusätzlichen Cloud-Server aufsetzen musste :)

@fasnix@iceshrimp.de Ah, das freut mich natürlich. Ich denke die meisten Punkte sind eher Schönheitsfehler und nicht sofort Show-Stopper. Das Problem ist, dass ich ein Backlog für 3 Jahre hab. Dennoch, da mit dem nächsten Release der Feature-Umfang von Typemill komplett sein wird, plane ich für nächstes Jahr 2-3 Konsolidierungs-Releases, in dem Zuge könnte ich mir die Sachen anschauen. Kannst du GitHub für Reports nutzen? Das wäre sehr hilfreich für die Organisation

@fasnix@iceshrimp.de Hallo, es gibt sicherlich ein paar Macken wie bei jeder Software, Typemill ist ein Open Source Projekt, PRs werden daher gerne gesehen wenn man Fehler findet. Der Title wird für die URL genutzt, daher Beschränkungen, zudem sind Title und Description auf übliche Längen für Indexierungen begrenzt. Wie gesagt ist Typemill auf Publishing, Handbücher, Dokumentation etc. spezialisiert, Blogs sind allenfalls ein Nebenprodukt, dafür eignen sich eher HTMLy, Automad, Grav, Bludit & Co.

@fasnix@iceshrimp.de Login funktioniert unter /tm/login, werde ich in der Dokumentation nochmal prominenter platzieren.

Die AI-Integration ist macht eigentlich nichts, wenn man sie nicht konfiguriert hat. Du meinst der Zauber-Button-Icon über der Seite neben dem Media-Icon soll ausgeblendet werden? Ich könnte eine Checkbox integrieren, wenn es wirklich stört.

Along with Typemill 2.19.4, I’ve released a major update of the eBook plugin that now supports projects. This makes it possible to manage multiple publishing projects independently within one Typemill installation.

I’m also preparing a bigger demo project to show how organisations, companies, and individuals can use Typemill as a small digital publishing house. I’m really looking forward to sharing it :)
