Electricity supply in my area is not very reliable but we get lots of sunshine most of the year. Can anyone recommend good resources on solar power and battery storage - with an emphasis on the cheap side of things.

I know mental health care talks a lot about self care but I think community care is just as important.

Thanks for reminding me!—it’s a friend’s unbirthday. (He was born on Friday the 13th, but in a different month.)

And the sound, right - most films, you give them five speakers and a sub, they'll use one speaker, the one in the middle. And then they'll maybe remember sometimes that they can have someone talking off to the right out of frame and they'll use your right speaker, or they'll have some rain or murmurs in a pub coming through the back ones. Sinners, right at the start of the film, it's like "Oh you've got lots of speakers? Cool let's put the various instruments of the score through different ones." I've only ever seen that in Bollywood.

And you get that One Shot where it doesn't just use them, it makes them absolutely sing, it's goosebumps-making, you know the shot I mean

This is addressed to clinical psychotherapists but is an interesting perspective on narcissism—or “grandiosity”—in general: most people labeled as irredeemably narcissistic can actually be helped.
