I've been trying all sorts of places with little luck, but in order for my wife and I to meet our new nephew and see our family for the first time since moving, we desperately need a cat-sitter! If you like cats and live in Portland, please DM me so we can test compatibility/locations/etc
If I haven't talked to you before, I'll have to get to know you a bit before trusting you with my cat (and potentially my apartment, depends on the situation)

@raphaelmorgan Honestly out of a sort of morbid curiosity, I’ve been checking out the retail landscape every Thanksgiving/Black Friday since moving to the U.S. (and PDX specifically). It has never been anywhere near as busy as Hollywood had prepared me for. Very tame all around.

New (as in <1 year) to #pdx so could use some advice: how much is grocery shopping gonna suck this week? I figure all food places will be busy leading up to Colonialism Day, but will WinCo (or other places primarily for food specifically) be unbearable on Capitalism Day like other stores are? I assume Target etc is probably just as bad up here but fortunately I have no reason to go to Target 🤷 unfortunately I still gotta get food *somewhere*
