I know no company will ever see this, but my rule of thumb for companies implementing age verification that is anything other than "Are you 18 years old?" or "What's your DOB?" is to just stop using their service.

Mr. Schwank was hired as an ICE lawyer in 2021 and became an instructor last year at the federal government’s law enforcement training academy in Georgia, where he taught courses on the law. He resigned on Feb. 13 after he and another publicly unidentified person submitted a confidential whistle-blower complaint on a separate matter that has raised constitutional questions: a new ICE policy allowing deportation officers to enter homes and arrest people without a judicial warrant.

“ICE is teaching cadets to violate the Constitution,” he said on Monday at the event with congressional Democrats.

Hello all.
New to this place, and wanted to introduce myself.

I'm living in Denmark (don't worry, I'll stick to English), working in programming but am currently struggling with burn-out and other related stress/depression issues (non-diagnosed, simply working through it all), living on my own, and am looking to find and possible create a new voice for myself outside tech and normal life.
I'm going to try and find/experiment with new hobbies to share about, food stuff, music and other such things, so I'm looking for others to follow for a more artistic and mindful approach, than what I'm usually exposed.

Cinnamon and Toast love each other like no two cats I've ever met. They're not closely related; Cinnamon was a three month-old rescue from California who'd passed through several shelters on his way north, and Toast is a year younger and was found starving with his siblings in a pipe on a farm in Langley at just four weeks old. But as soon as we started fostering Toast and his siblings, Cinnamon became the perfect cat dad to them all, and Toast latched onto him and became obsessed. Toast's siblings all got adopted by good familes, but we kept Toast for ourselves so that he could be with Cinnamon. They're so happy together!

@Phyl there are a few small breweries in the US that serve beers on cask regularly. It’s not terribly common, but if you know where to look you can find them.

I’m fortunate a gentleman from the UK who missed real ale decided to start his own brewery not too far from me. Every thing is in cask served with hand pumped beer engines.
