I'd really like to see better support for dynamically adding brightness sliders for newly connected external displays that support DDC. In my experience any external monitor that wasnt connected when I logged in will not show up in the brightness and color widget if connected later. I also wasnt able yet to find a suitable workaround (sometimes, "systemctl restart --user plasma-powerdevil" works, but mostly not)

LLMs might open languages that normally are closed, but they are a knowledge cooperation destruction machinery, to name only one of many problems that arise from the very functioning of the algorithm and interface - I would not say parasitic, because "they" are not alive - its a program that predicts the next most probable word based on a massive amount of chats that should have been better kept private or at least in the hands of the communities in charge of the cognitive Quality production "machine"
Ich werfe ihnen vor, daß sie NICHTS angekündigt haben. Keine Vorwarnung. Das "Update" (das offenbar schlicht eine neue App ist) hat Gigabytes an offline-Kartendaten, meine POIs, Navigations-Historie und alle Adresslisten in der App einfach gelöscht. Alles weg.
Vielleicht wäre es wieder aufgetaucht wenn ich das Lösegeld bezahlt hätte? Ich weiß es nicht. Gottseidank habe ich Backups. Die alte Version funktioniert übrigens weiterhin, man darf halt nur nicht mehr aktualisieren.
