My story "Ancestors, Descendants" is among brilliant stories by @sarenaulibarri @tkrex @ana , Renan Bernardo, & Danielle Arostegui.
It's my one awards-eligible story for 2025.
@susankayequinn our awesome editor made the anthology free for the season! Hope you'll read it!

Lots of snow and no power out here in #novascotia today
It's such a wet sticky snow here in #novascotia today it's even sticking to our clothesline and making it sag. I can see why it would be causing power outages. One of our pine trees lost some branch's and a lot of other trees are sagging way down

How have I not read all the books that Mary highlights in this exploration of #EcoLit from around the globe?!
Lovely to have my solarpunk novel The Working on the list.
Give the #gift of books this holiday season!
This month's world #ecofiction spotlight focuses on authors around the globe from our very own Rewilding our Stories Discord! https://dragonfly.eco/rewilding-our-stories/ You'll find novels and an anthology written by amazing creatives. I'll add the Discord link in the comments.
I was thrilled to work as an editor for the fall issue of Ecology & Action Magazine, particularly on writer Bianca Marzan's piece on EAC's pop-up bike hub. The entire magazine is beautiful and worth the read! #biking #diy #ecology #eelgrass #climate #art

Just interviewed author and wildlife biologist Michelle (ME) Schuman. She's got an amazing life story. I'm just starting on her memoir and love it. #wildlife #Alaska #biologist #wetlands
Some lovely fall colours here in #NovaScotia today. And very pleasant fall weather to go with it before the rain comes later this week. Hopefully the weather forecast is right about that since it's still so dry here. The bulbs I planted need some water.
Just picked 3 more pounds of beans from our raised garden bed this morning. They've been producing this weekly for so long now 😅
https://buttondown.com/dragonfly.eco/archive/september-2025-outside-the-moon-is-up-the-harvest/ September news is published! In this issue, interviews with Anh Do (Wolf Girl) and Jessica Mann (Uplift), and much more! #ecofiction #wild #novels

Granny Weatherwax has completed her biscuit making and is now politely asking for some attention on this #caturday
Some of the deck boards were rotting out so I pulled them up to replace them, and noticed the support rails under were starting to rot, after replacing those it turned out the stairs were rotting out too, so all in all it turned out I had to replace everything except the steel railings. I also reused the kickboards on the steps since I didn't want to have to go back to the store for the nth time just for two more bits of wood. Feels good to have it all done finally though! Except the stain... still have that to do. #DIY
