@John Thank you!
@tefferbear Thank you - I really appreciate that.
@Owen_G_Richards Thank you so much for looking.
I was introduced to the book by a grief practitioner I've been working with, and whilst I took note of the title, I didn't note the exact poem.
It doesn't feel familiar at a second reading.
Hi all,
I'm looking to confirm which of Emily Dickinson's poems appear in Jane Hirshfield's book 'Women In Praise of the Sacred' (1995)
The book is out of print, and Google is not being forthcoming.
Any help would be much appreciated.
@LevelUp Hi Ken - thank you for taking the time to acknowledge and share my latest article.

I am experienced in allowing my grief to move my pen, or move my fingers over my keyboard.
I am less practiced in talking about how my experience of disability impacts my grieving process.
Last month I was given an opportunity by Let's Talk About Loss for #DisabilityPrideMonth

This essay I wrote in 2020 is the closest I have come to a mission statement.
Realising it was no longer available online made me sad, so I fixed that and rehomed it on Substack.

Early April is a tender time for me.
In today's #Substack post, I share a little about why alongside a new way to engage with my work.
In my latest #Substack post, I'm reflecting on an experience from last summer in my favourite woodland. A kind stranger went out of their way, and I didn't get to thank them.

Towards the end of last month, I started a new adventure.
I'm now writing on Substack.
I'd love to have you along for the ride.
@welshpixie Sorry to hear you're not feeling well.
I hope the tea (which sounds tasty) does its job.
Hi all,
I'm now writing on Substack, sharing reflections about grief and creativity as well as insights into my own process.
I'd love to have you along for the ride.

@TheBreadmonkey Brilliant!
I love stop motion animation, and would love to play with it more. :)
Nephew made a stop motion video! 😍
Today I learned about the 'American sentence' - Allen Ginsberg's alternative to haiku.
My response?
'Counting not feeling'
Mr. Ginsberg expounded
I weep in haiku.
