@dubstar_04 I am 95% sure I chose Phosh. Generally I agree with you about gnome apps, especially the last few years. I think it is being able to do most everything with gestures/swipes rather than buttons. SailfishOS apps that follow the guidelines are very intuitive to me.

Testing Tuba, a mastodon client on Droidian. It's fun to see how far linux on mobile has come. Droidian seems to work quite well on my old Pixel 3a. The apps look recognisable from my laptop, which is both good and bad. Maybe not always the most intuative when working witha touch screen. It's not quite on par with SailfishOS UX-wise. I will be paying attention to the development for sure!

We're investigating European-based Patreon alternatives. Does anyone have any experience with any of them? We're looking at Steady but it appears that they process their payments through Paypal which kinda defeats the point of trying to use a European platform...

Yet another reason why I love my #SailfishOS phone.
I forgot my phone this morning, ohh well I can survive a day without.
Except for the fact I need SMS 2fa to log into all work services.
So.. it's a linux phone I have ssh access to it!
I manage to vpn home, ssh into my phone and extract all sms messages.
All of this took me 2-3 minutes.

There are so many good looking #SailfishOS apps, so I got a bit inspired.
I have rewritten a few pages of Reis, my travel planner.
I think I am finally using ListView correctly with search in the header of the main page. Some QoL like switching from/to in the planner.

@OnceUponAGoblin I don't have them close by, but it looks like CAMPO LEATHER are the once I have. Next time I will probably choose the brown/natural soles, the white once get quite dirty.

@OnceUponAGoblin Very happy with the comfort of Veja. The soles are wearing out on mine, but they still look great. I will probably buy same again next summer.

Made some further updates to Reis, my #SailfishOS app for public transport in #Norway. It's finally in Norwegian! Should probably have done that earlier. I've also made some improvements to readability and automatic update of data.

We’ve just got our hands on the first appearance models of the new Jolla Phone. Having the device physically in hand is an important milestone for us, and we wanted to share it with the community.

So not to confuse: the appearance model does not have functioning electronics inside yet - actual functional samples are to come down the road later.
