@davemark How strange! Very odd production values as you say. Right from the opening shot, which is a complete nothing — and wonky! — shot. Once it “starts” around 4 mins in, you think “ah here comes some production value” but it immediately vanishes again. I scrubbed through the rest and found it very bizarre. The only reason I can think of for posting it is that it doesn’t show up in the “Videos” tab for the channel, only in the “Live” tab. But it feels like it was made public by mistake!

@jimmylittle Good points re Apple Games, there are a lot of opportunities there. I just hope there’s more going on with larger developers behind the scenes to get them to develop for Apple’s non-mobile platforms/OSs as well.

@marioguzman An awful lot of fuss about the first dev beta. Which in many places is great. But yes, in a whole bunch of places they’ll have to dial it back. I’m glad they’ve gone a bit crazy … again, in the first. dev. beta.

@steveriggins But why is the photo picker for these amazing photo widgets (windows!? hmm that name might be taken) so ridiculously TINY, Apple?!!? There’s infinite space and they make the image selector so small you can barely see 2 images at once! 🤷‍♂️

The more I learn about atmospheric chemistry, the more terrified and angry I am about satellite companies' blatant lack of consideration for how their actions will harm the atmosphere. I hope this gets a lot of press. Great work by a whole team of scientists, including @astrokiwi.bsky.social!

@steveriggins I don’t have PSVR2 so I’ve been looking for where to buy the controllers. Not on Amazon (not surprised). Not available from Sony (a bit surprised).

Guessing they’ll be sold via Apple stores, soon? Now would’ve been good but… meh, no rush I guess 🤷
