If they aren't political, then why do athletes march under flags as if displaying their country dominance? Why is it ultimately an asymmetrical competition between countries and each country's means and not between people?

At the latest it should have been clear to everyone when Epstein buddy Bill Gates started arguing less for climate solutions and more for energy.

@HeavenlyPossum There's currently a rush of companies' management to embrace & implement #ai at many levels. The main motor behind is their dogmatic belief in ai not only as a problem-solving tool but a must to survive. It seems to me that when many of these companies realize that something is going wrong, they wont look first into their expensive ai but will blame employees as the problem, just like people's "bad prompting skills" are blamed when ai spits out clearly incorrect answers.

@Joerg_Zimmermann Sorry, ich weiß ihr seid im Austausch. Aber die Aussage "KI treibt die Energiewende voran" erscheint nicht sehr belastbar zu sein. Genau das Gegenteil ist der Fall: KI bremst durch ihren massiven und rasant steigenden Energiebedarf die Energiewende.

@ai6yr @ai6yr I don't think they would leave a modular data center unit lying there at this stage where nothing else seems to be built. My take is they are modular temporary facility units (offices, bathrooms, meeting rooms, changing rooms, etc.) for the construction crews. Maybe they just lie there until they are put together and assembled as needed.
I guess one can look up permits for generator applications, then cross-reference the LLC with its parent. There's only a handful.

@enbypirate I don't think I put a label on somebody nor I was intending to create some kind of imaginary line. The article is however very helpful to show that values which many people have align quite well with anarchist philosophy. But many don't even know because the term anarchism is used in a totally distorted way, resulting that people tend to immediately avoid or reject it.

Anyway, I've asked myself how can #solarpunk come to be. How can a transition from now could look like. And I think that solarpunk societies can only begin and exist under #anarchism (not in the sense that many think it is, i.e. a "chaotic violent world", but in the true sense of the word).
