💾 NEW PODCAST!💾 In December we played Betrayal at Krondor, the 1993 open world RPG by Dynamix, based on the "Riftwar Cycle" universe by Raymond E. Feist.

The game isn't based on a specific novel, but Feist was such a fan of the game he novelised it after the fact, when he published "Krondor: The Betrayal" in 1998.

Well TIL, the Aqara Zigbee temperature sensors (WSDCGQ11LM) DO have a maximum limit (the box says +50c is the max but I've always seen more than that), with the intense heatwave we are going through at the moment the temperature inside my tiled roof exceeded 60c for the first time I've recorded. Yikes!

Amusing when I instructed my Son to change games he couldn't work out how to get the cartridge out! My wife had to go over and show him how it was all brute force back then 🤭

Then when playing, he was amazed how hard you had to push the buttons to get any response, none of this easy Xbox controller stuff!

Got the SEGA Megadrive out of its box, found an old LCD TV with an analogue tuner, connected the RF switching adaptor and away we went! Required a bit of jiggling to get it to boot, but not surprising after 35 years! Both Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 still work in all their PAL 50Hz slowed glory 😁
