Prior to the 30th anniversary of #Civilization2 I've released a video years in making that shows how to play Sid Meier’s #Civilization II in HD & showcases the best #Civ2 mods & scenarios that I've painstakingly searched, rescued & preserved on @civfanatics ! There’s also previews on some crazy new mods of my own that change nearly everything in Civ2 to look like Heroes of Might & Magic, Command & Conquer, Red Alert, Dune, and Alpha Centauri to name a few. @civfanatics @Landgraab_Industries @FrankBlack78 Yeah to really love HoMM1 you needed to start the series there as a kid/teen which was my case. Most started the series at HoMM2&3. @civfanatics @FrankBlack78 Yup as CivFanatics says my HoMM2 mod is for the Multiplayer Gold Edition (MGE) of Civilization 2. If you do manage to get a copy and maybe a USB external CD drive off ebay too (they're quite cheap) then I recently wrote a quick guide in this thread (bottom of section 4) that may help people get around some of the issues/quirks:

@FrankBlack78 @civfanatics Yeah it's possible 2K do hold but do nothing with it, we just don't know unfortunately. I'm trying to get Civ2 onto GoG so it comes pre-patched and in an easy to use installer saving us all this trouble! So please vote if you can!

While several #Civ6 mods have been proposed sadly there is no complete Fallout mod we know of. Civ6 does come with a rather fun post apocalyptic Red Death mode though. Red Death assets could be used in a project such as DirtyCarie’s unfinished Fallout 4 Commonwealth mod.
