037 - Avengers West Coast #57 - 2/6/1990
I'm sure this will end well for all involved...

New "Fire & Blood Files" for @TheComicon, in which I dig into the big reveal of #AKnightOfTheSevenKingdoms' third episode, "The Squire," and why it matters! #AKOTSK #Spoilers

050 - Cannonball
Another standout of the set. Dynamic perspective & phenomenal coloring work in the different shades of the blastin' effect.
It's kinda odd Sam's brief history w/the Hellfire Club doesn't come up more.
036 - Marvel Triple Action #18 - 2/5/1974
Reprinting Avengers #24.
Marvel Triple Action issues were super cheap back in the day; read lots of early Avengers that way.
Cover by Jack Kirby. Interiors by Stan Lee & Don Heck.

049 - Puma
I'm a sucker for these kind of "top-down" perspective cards.
Also, every time I read the word "puma", I read it like Principal Skinner pronounces it ("pew-mah").
048 - Rhino
Very cool that we get some fully painted Bret Blevins stuff in this set.
Hasn't Rhino's suit always been stuck on him, not just "in the beginning"?
New Uncanny X-Men review from me and Adam Reck for @ComicsXF, featuring two things I love (Westerns and Marvel analogs of the Universal Monsters) and one thing I don't love (cat endangerment)! #XMen #UncannyXMen #XSpoilers

Who has the most complicated family tree in comics? I see your Summers Family and raise you a Williams / Vision / Ultron / Pym / Maximoff / Barton (plus a little Summers, and some Rogue) Family.

047 - Annihilus
Ah! Space Dracula!
I have to assume we eventually learned the origin of the ship from which he crafted his control rod, and it was like a
Celestial or Kree ship or something, right?
033 - X-Men Legends #11 - 2/2/2022
I love Apocalypse's goobery original Horsemen so much.

Remember: we got a Sabretooth action figure based just on his appearance in this issue before, say, a Jubilee or Shadowcat figure.

031 - Avengers (v3) #38 - 1/31/2001
The beginning of Alan Davis' short run on Busiek's Avengers!

044 - Ravage 2099
Stan Lee's last notable creation, the 2099 imprint's only original main character. In true Stan fashion, his last name is "Ravage."
They really should have spaced out these #Marvel2099 characters a bit more.
030 - Marvel Two-in-One #51 - 1/30/1979
Featuring some great figurework from Perez on the cover and one of Thing's semi-famous floating poker games on the inside!
