Ordered a new PSU, 'in stock' at a local store - and a week later I have no pickup notification.
I'm guessing 'in stock' means different things to different people!
Twitter certainly isn't the place it once was - unfortunately... so lately I have been branching out to some other platforms.
Hoping to find some new connections, neat art/dev and places to share my work - through 2026 and beyond!
I have ongoing content I started over on X/Twitter - and I want to keep that ball rolling here on Mastodon too ๐
While we are here, my other platform profiles:
X/Twitter: https://x.com/Alex_ADEdge
BlueSky: https://bsky.app/profile/alexdeltadev.bsky.social
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@Alex_DeltaDev

@Pl4n3 Yeh its looking good - you could do some neat stuff here!
Arc Raiders looks pretty solid yeh, I havent played it yet. But giant robots in a fps... good combo.
At the dentist and the TV on the roof is playing politics nonstop for the whole session.
One of life's more terrible combinations.
The #TriKitFramework is a mixture of:
1) threeJS (as the foundational 3D library)
2) Blender (3D models/rigs/animation)
3) Custom/modular javascript components (and other common libraries which are supported - like Cannon-es or Rapier for physics) which tie it all together
#javascript #b3d #threeJS
It only felt fitting, after putting so much work into the framework during my 100 Day Challenge at the end of 2026 - to give it a proper name.
I'm using the framework as a base template for basically all my threeJS work at moving forward anyway ..
Decided to make a logo/name for the framework I have been putting together (and have now been using) since sometime around 2022.
Introducing my threeJS 'TriKit Framework'!

@Pl4n3 Spooky, but I like it. Now just turn the model into a peanut and you can be famous on twitch ๐ฅ ๐
I was messing with some feature tracking at the end of last year, and was wondering what could be used to bring in eye video. I should check out webgazerjs!
CGI was off the charts too. I saw Avatar in 3D today - I generally always see Avatar in 3D as its one of the few movies which doesn't overdo it.
But to create a movie of this length with CGI at this level is just the absolute pinnacle of the industry right now. Impressive stuff.
I really like a good enemy in a movie like this. Its too easy to fall into cliches and tropes (which there seem to be an unending amount of in these Avatar movies regardless) but eh, you will always get that to some degree with blockbuster movies ...
What I wrote back in 2022 about Avatar 2:
"the characters were all surprisingly likable .. and I felt like they all got enough screen time to develop in various ways. But the enemies were so boring & bland. An interesting twist to start with, but ultimately 100% forgettable" ..
And I felt like my biggest issue with Avatar 2 was improved too - Avatar 3 had much more depth & thought put into the enemies ...
Super curious about the 'mother' angle too. I got a strong feeling that this god-like element is some kind of origin of life, and covers both humans and Na'vi (as it didnt distinctly look like either of the species). Tbh it looked more human than anything else. Solid 2001 vibes as well ...
Avatar3 didn't really take things in any major new directions, but it did bring the humans & Na'vi closer than ever (from both angles, which has been fascinating). Both species are being intertwined more & more - which raises deeper questions & reflections I think are perfect for Avatar to tackle ..
(getting into spoiler-ish thoughts now)
I feel the formula needs to evolve in the next 2 movies. These first 3 felt like they progress the story in reasonable ways, but the whole 'natives vs human invaders' back & forth on their home world has been through several cycles, its feeling repetitive ...
Some recent things Cameron has said make it sound like he is getting tired of these - now after 3x huge movies and almost 2 decades.
Cant blame him, an unimaginable amount of work and dedication ...
These movies are so long oml.
But another solid entry into the Avatar pentalogy I felt.
I spent a lot of this movie wondering where its going to go in the final 2 installments - and whether Cameron will hold the quality all the way though ...
My (spoiler-free) thoughts at the end of #avatar3:
