Im hessischen Opel-Zoo ist es zu einem ungewöhnlichen Rettungseinsatz gekommen. Eine ältere Elefantenkuh war am frühen Morgen in ihrem Gehege gestürzt und konnte aus eigener Kraft nicht mehr aufstehen. Mitarbeitende des Tierparks entdeckten das Tier später in der misslichen Lage und alarmierten umgehend die Feuerwehr.
