Just guessing here about AI and exploitation, having been to a plumbing store today. That's a place where people have a lot of quiet knowledge.
My request for a replacement cartridge for a 10-year old mixer tap needed a person at the store to phone a person at the manufacturer. Because the data wasn't online.
So. If it was AI not real people, the computer would just say "No".
That makes me guess sales of new equipment would go up, and sales of repair parts would go down.
