Not giving up… 🐾

But yeah, at times, I just want to throw in the towel, as they say, and just let it all go by... But, I will probably use a lot of "buts" in this post, I am still going. Trying to find ways to get through this. I know the worst of the grief is slowly fading now. I still cry, but a little less. I still miss her every day. But, days come and go, and my life is slowly moving forward, adapting to a life without her, slowly preparing for a life with a new furry companion. I now have little Bas with me here. And, he's really a sweet and cuddly dog, loves walkies and sniffs, and loves to steal my space on my bed... 😇 He enjoys getting in between my legs as I sleep, which is very cute, and nice and warm (mind you, he's on the blankets, not under them), but it's a hassle when you try to move in your sleep, or... When you need to pee very badly. 😂 Still, it does help me to adjust to caring for a dog for a while again... […]
