The last post of our series of bikes that look like letters … although sometimes you need to squint your eyes. This time the Y and Q!

During 1995 Trek released a bike design that would revolutionize the design of mountain bikes for several years called the Y33.

The revolutionary aspect of design was the Y frame witha URT [Unified Rear Triangle), which was the ultimate in simplicity for a full suspension design.

The penny-farthing, also known as a high wheel, high wheeler or ordinary, is an early type of bicycle.
It was popular in the 1870s and 1880s, with its large front wheel providing high speeds, owing fo its traveling a long distance for every rotation of the wheel.
