Ahah!
Also: how different do they taste?
To my utter shame and even if I know these are two very different animals, horseshoe crabs and trilobites are somehow a unique blurry concept in my head. I always habe to double check which one is extinct and which one isn't.
The way insurances work is a big obstacle to the right to self repair and to the second hand market in general. We should be able to insure second-hand things as well as new ones, and we should be able to, let's say, buy a new screen for our phone and repair it ourselves instead of going to a repair shop and still have the right insurance cover this cost.
@finnmyrstad I love the irony of hosting the video through vimeo which is a great example of an entishitified product!

@daytonamess this looks like a solid start already! You could decide to snap to your grid like with a pixel font.
The fact is, I'm sure those apps developers are themselves power keyboard users, so besides management saying ”nö, shortcuts are not a priority, don't ass any”, I don't understand why they wouldn't have proper — and even better: editable — shortcuts.
I'm at this moment of my life when my choice between 2 equivalent apps / websites / services will be made depending of how much one can use them mostly with keyboard input and shortcuts.
Looking for a flat in #berlin ? We're moving houses and subletting our flat in Neukölln for 6 months before the next tenants can move in.
It's a 87m2 flat at the fifth floor in a back house of Sonnenallee, bright and very quiet even with open windows. It has a huge kitchen/living room, 2 bedrooms and a balcony. We could leave some minimal furniture like couches, a big futon bed, etc. Move in from the 15.03 or 01.04.
Please share if you know some people who might be interested. PM me for more details.
My note taking app has randomly started using Cascadia Code by @sajatype and let me say I'm delighted by it. Such a nice font to write and read with.
@raphael @w__h_ I'm sure https://karabiner-elements.pqrs.org/ can also do the job although it might be overpowered. But it's the ultimate remapping tool on MacOS.
@kupfers yeah I just asked for a couple of quotes and think it's one if the areas where we can easily lower the stress and work. Thanks for the tips tho!

@martin thanks! Now we are trying to figure out if we manage to move before or if we push it later (paying 2 renrs at the same time)
Fate is playing a funny game with my family. We got offered through acquaintances to move to a bigger and cheaper accommodation, but it's very sudden and should happen in one month, which is stressful enough on itself.
Now we just learnt that our daughter needs to receive a heavy spine surgery ASAP to prevent her from becoming paraplegic. The date of the surgery is the same as the planned move. And it's in another city.
Oh the irony. What a time to be alive, really.

I had the pleasure to help with cover design, choice of mustard yellow, incrustations of ginea-pigs and over-use of NaN Rage Soft
